It’s that time of year again! We have begun our fundraiser for March of Dimes with all money going to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
We did incredible last year, raising $1800, which caused our chapter to be honored by March of Dimes. You can read The Times article about it here:
If you’re a paid member, come by Mr. Mac’s room (121) to get some pumpkins and start raising money! If you haven’t yet, pay soon, so you can start selling pumpkins too.
You can also sign up for March of Dimes teams (four members per team). The teams that raise the most money for the cause will win prizes!
In the upcoming months, we will also have booth set up at local places where we will sell our paper pumpkins. Keep an eye out for information about these, so you can sign up and help out! (These count as community service events that can help you go to State)
Come on, everybody! Let’s beat last year’s amount! We can do it!!!!
Once again, our officer team will attend the Oregon Leadership Institute (OLI) in Bend November 2-3. We will return even better officers than before. Here is information pertaining to OLI:

The program contains information such as a detailed schedule, workshop descriptions, business tour descriptions and more. Competitors will receive a hard copy version at the conference itself, but the online version will be very helpful to plan out your schedule and prepare for the conference.
